Hurricane Season!

Were exhausted...what a Day! Cuzzin, Sister Tina and my 3 boys were here and it RAINED AND RAINED and it was VERY HOT.. I love it :)

Company Arrived~

Mom's favorite traveling companion cuzzin arrived. All they do is talk but cuzzin loves me and pets my head :)

Little Bitty's BACK!!!!!!!

Today was Itty Bitty's first day to go back to school with his Papa(Good Ole Dad)



They are learning the Alphabet at school. This is "A" week!

Bitty arrived with an "A" stamp on his hand.. He was so proud!

After his lunch he decided he wanted to have a birthday party! Nooooooo it's not his birthday, but remember he's 3 years old and he and his Papa have lots of ideas~

Mom thought he was going to singe off his eyebrows!

Then it was off to feed "Bill" some "corns".. These "corns" came from Dad's garden!

It took all of us to "help".. Me, Annoying little sister and Lil Bro Spike.Do you see Lil Brother?He's just a SPECK! not a Spike:)Bitty posed for Mom by standing on Lil Bro's house! Everyone says Bitty looks just like Mom did when she was a little girl, that makes her smile~

Jimmmy's VERY big Day TSB! YEAH~

Oh WOW what a day. Mom and Dad got to go with Precious to HIS "Open House" at his school!

Sister Tina and her Wayne and Rowdy went along too and they were not disappointed.

Mom and Rowdy think Precious is going to have some really cool things to play with!

Mom always makes Precious laugh:) and so does Dad~

This is Jimmy's Kindergarten Room! His Teacher is MS D.

MS D has a very busy schedule planned for Precious~

There was so much to take in, Precious didn't know what to think about all of it!

It is a beautiful School. Very warm and inviting with so many fun things to do. The walls are all painted bright beautiful colors so Jimmy and his friends can see them.

Lot's of different rooms for different things, I think Jimmy will like music best!

Everyone they met was very kind and helpful and Precious loved them all and can't wait to get started!

If you can read this you will see what an awesome place this is.

And OH BOY let me tell you about the playground! This was the most awesome playground Mom had ever seen! Rowdy would have liked to play there all day!

Has Mom every told you that Sister Tina is a "Mother Hen" in the nicest of ways :)

The only DOWN side about this is the distance, but it wasn't bad and Sister Tina and Rowdy will stay up there and do their own school while Precious is in his school! It will all work out swimmingly!




Precious loves his Daddy very much~ It was a HOT HOT day~




This is a picture from the sky. It is a BIG school and a cool school. They are doing some new construction so it looks a little different now. Mom and Dad want to come back to visit with The Teacher and the Assistant that Precious will have and to meet all his little friends! This is SO exciting (do you think they would let me go?)

Thoughtful Thursday

I start thinking about fall coming when August hits. I hate that I do that, but I do. And if it's fall then it's winter. I can't think of anything I like about winter unless I could fly to the Caribbean for 3 months :)

I remember when it was REALLY hard for us to make a $52 a month mortgage payment! Kids didn't always get new school shoes and we rarely traveled. I think we are all spoiled now.


The junk on the Internet is taking over! If you read it, it doesn't make it so. I think computers are a passing fad :)

I miss seeing my little kids walk in the door at 7 a.m. every morning, but boy I'm glad they don't!

Penny has a sore foot! That's why she's not typing. Poor Penny.

Spike dumped 5 pounds of coffee off this morning and peed in it. I don't know why my husband didn't find that creative!

It's August 13 and we got our AC ready for summer~ ahhhhhhhh

I got a personal note from my painter/handyman Mark today. Wasn't that sweet?? You think he's thinking of this long cold winter!? :)

I forwarded an email last night and as of now the majority of the people admit to being Liberals! I'm so proud! We won't be bullied anymore and we don't scream, we just smile politely. Makes blood pressure rise :)

I'm going to go sit outside. it's 77 degree's at 9 pm with 75% humidity. It's August in TN~I love it

Thankful Tuesday/Eunice Shriver

Today on Thankful Tuesday I'm very thankful for this Amazing Woman's life and her dedication to children and people of all ages with disabilities. She gave her life and every waking moment to the cause of Special Olympics and had a special love we can't even imagine for these gifted children. As a grandmother of a child with disabilities, I wish there were a Eunice Shriver in every town in this country and abroad. I hope her legacy lives forever. God bless you classy lady! RIP

HI HO HI HO ITS OFF TO SCHOOL WE GO!

Bitty had Open House at his Preschool today! He was so excited, he arrived at Mom and Dad's house jumping from one foot to another!!!!! He just wanted to GO GO GO!

So into the car they went and he and his Papa walked in to school.Bitty is VERY BRAVE in a big school!

It was even more exciting then he thought it would be!

While he visited he called his Daddy on the "Phone".

He has new teachers and new friends!

His new teachers are Ms Laura and Ms Marcie.. Bitty liked them a lot and made them "tea".

Bitty was very brave but he wanted Papa in the picture with his new teachers.... just in case Papa might forget him :)

And you won't believe this.......there is another LIAM~~~~~~~~~~ Can you believe that???? See that's what his teachers call Bitty. And this other Liam has hair like Bitty but he's a whole lot bigger and he had cowboy boots on but Bitty liked him a lot.

Before he left he stopped to visit with Ms Brenda, his teacher from last year, she really really misses him.

Of course after they left they HAD to go to Pizza Hut~ It's gonna be a good year!

Oh and the first thing his new teachers said about him???????.......... Isn't he CUTE!!!! WELL DUHHHHHH
