Myrtle Beach South Carolina 1965
Today I was escaping the heat and reclining in my cool living room watching some nonsense on TV. All of a sudden on came an ad for Myrtle Beach South Carolina. My mind flashed back to 1965 and two little bitty girls with their Daddy and Mama seeing the Ocean for the very first time. We were always going to go back, we never did.
It wouldn't be the same now.. It's a whole lot of "family entertainment" aka Branson-like or Pigeon Forge I suspect. Lots of people love that, I would NOT, so I'm glad I have this sweet memory.
Wish I could remember it...I really thought our 1st beach trip was panama city...Thanks for the post and sweet picture:)
